A few years ago my partner and I realised that we were done with simple carbohydrates: Pasta had failed us too often; I could never cook white rice to save my life; and spuds had just become background noise.
If in doubt, sausages, by the way: Always keep a pack in the freezer just in case. I mean, I don’t, but you definitely should.
Can we all just strap on a pair and grow up about grains? There has been too much hype, too much over-promotion, about grains as “superfoods”: they’re just great to eat.
